Jacked In Recommends ‘Barbarian’ (2022)

Tess (Georgina Campbell) is visiting from out of town for the interview of a lifetime. Unfortunately, after a bit of a mix-up with Airbnb, it seems she may have a roommate… but not everything is as it seems.

It’s pretty hard to elaborate when describing a horror movie as having “something about it”, however, that is definitely the best way to describe Zach Cregger’s Barbarian.

It’s just so refreshing to see scary flicks as fun as this still being made.

It doesn’t make the mistake of overcomplicating things and instead lures you in with its simplicity. It does tick the mandatory scare and gore boxes but above all else, it’s just so refreshing to see scary flicks as fun as this still being made. Not to mention a marvellous supporting cast which includes both Bill Skarsgård (It) and Justin Long (Jeepers Creepers, Tusk), two individuals who are certainly no strangers when it comes to the genre. Rest assured you’ll be on the edge of your seat from start to finish with this one, get involved.
