Based on real events… That haven’t happened… Yet. Don’t Look Up tells the story of two minor league astronomers, Dr Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence), who make the startling discovery that there’s a meteor the size of Mount Everest and it’s heading straight for earth. Aptly named a “Planet Killer” the meteor will wipe out every living thing, luckily, measures can be put in place to potentially give the people of earth a fighting chance. The only problem is… No one seems to care.

Adam McKay’s (Anchorman, Step Brothers and The Big Short) intelligent satire is as morbid as it is funny, depicting events that aren’t that much of a far cry from today’s society. Amazing performances all around in a movie that is absolutely jam-packed with talent, get involved.
