An Alfred Hitchock classic, Rear Window follows the life of L.B. Jeffries (James Stewart), a recently wheelchair-bound photographer, recovering from an injury. During his recovery – whilst not being able to leave his apartment – Jeffries begins to become fascinated with the lives of his colourful neighbours and their individual habits, before stumbling upon something suspiciously worrying from one resident in particular. . .
For a movie with such an intimate setting, it really knows how to build suspense (unsurprisingly given that Hitchcock is behind the wheel). A classic tale of visual storytelling, not just a movie for Hitchcock fanatics, but a film no true Thriller lover can justify not watching, get Involved.
Available on Amazon Prime.
