The Pagemaster follows the life of an over-cautious boy, Richard Tyler (Macaulay Culkin), who buries himself in statistics, only to have his courage put to the test after getting sucked into an animated world of mystical literature. Richard must then learn to cast his statistics aside if he’s going to survive his encounters with some of the scarier aspects of fictional history.
This movie has everything there is to love about a true childhood adventure, facing your fears and making friends along the way, or in this case, three fictional books, known as Adventure (Patrick Stewart), Fantasy (Whoopi Goldberg) and Horror (Frank Welker), who really live up to their names, get Involved.
