Jacked In Recommends ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ (2010)

Bringing Bryan Lee O’Malley’s quirky, indie, graphic novel to life we have Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

An alternative comic book movie featuring a kid from Toronto trying to win the heart of the girl he loves, the only catch being, to do so, he must first defeat her seven evil exes.

Along with stunning effects and choreography, Wright adds his own marvellous style and idiosyncrasies which fit seamlessly into O’Malley’s universe. As well as a perfect cast doing their literary counterparts some serious justice, you also have an awesome soundtrack that blows the roof off, literally!

In short, it’s hard not to be in lesbians with this movie, get involved.

Available on Netflix.
