Frailty begins with numerous victims going missing all over Texas, courtesy of the God’s Hand Killer. All of a sudden, a mysterious man (Matthew McConaughey) shows up at the FBI and begins regaling an agent in the stories of his disturbed childhood. It soon becomes apparent that the man’s hardcore Christian Father (Bill Paxton) and the God’s Hand Killer seem to have a lot in common.
Definitely an all-around amazing cast, but it certainly owes a great deal to the incredible acting chops of Paxton (who also directed). If you’re after an amazing thriller that slowly ropes you in and constantly makes you question just what the hell you’d in that situation, get involved.
