Highlander follows the life of Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert), an immortal Scotsman (although, his accent has somewhat changed over time) who has been alive for hundreds of years, battling others of his kind in a bid to win the coveted “prize”, which will be bestowed on the last person standing. The catch being, the only way they can end their opponent’s life, is by causing the head and torso to part ways. . . There can be only one.
As well as spectacular swordplay, an amazing soundtrack by Queen and a brilliantly menacing villain in the form of The Kurgan (Clancy Brown), following McLeod through the centuries truly makes you ask the question “Who wants to live forever?”, get involved.
