Bite the Hand sees Grace (Lucy Shervington), an individual attending counselling for depression brought on by her domestic household and a past which remains unclear (until the end reveal).

Although Grace is an aspiring writer who seeks out conversations with randomers to make her dialogue more convincing, this aspect feels somewhat ironic due to the dialogue having an unnatural quality – whether or not this is deliberate is undefined. As well as this, the conclusion doesn’t feel like it meets the expectations of the build-up and ends on a bit of a flat note.

With a stunning seaside location which is captured wonderfully, the exterior shots are an absolute treat for the eyes,

However, along with the strong, hitting issues the picture touches on, the cinematography is definitely something to admire. With a stunning seaside location which is captured wonderfully, the exterior shots are an absolute treat for the eyes.
