Jacked In Recommends ‘Klaus’ (2019)

After being labelled as the postal academy’s worst employee, Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) is reassigned to a frozen town just above the Arctic Circle, known as Smeerensburg. However, the low temperature isn’t the only icy thing about this town, it seems, for quite some time there has been an ongoing rivalry that has divided the locals (quite the understatement).

Just when all seems lost for Jesper, he ends up befriending a local toymaker… by the name of Klaus (J.K. Simmons).

A fresh take on a classic tale and with a combination of both hand-drawn and CGI animation, it reminds you of what you loved about the old-school animated features, whilst simultaneously bringing a new, original style to the table. A possible tearjerker but still a wholesome, festive feature with plenty of laughs, perfect for the holidays and the whole family, get involved.
